We Keep You Moving, Feet First !

Nicholas Abramoff
Nicholas Abramoff is the principal podiatrist and owner of Body & Sole Podiatry, having taken over the reins in 2006.
After having completed his degree in Science, Nicholas found that his passion lay in helping others in a more specific field. Upon moving to Sydney he began studying podiatry at which point he never looked back. Nicholas graduated in 2001 gaining experience in high risk and aged care, in both private practice and aged care residential establishments. Sports podiatry was another area in which he gained an invaluable understanding of how to help both the novice or the trained athlete.
His goal is to be able to facilitate everybody’s wishes to be pain-free and not having pain restrict their movement in daily life.
Nicholas’ special interests include conservative and surgical intervention of ingrown toe nails and gait assessment/biomechanical assessments. Nicholas holds membership of the Australasian Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine (AAPSM).
Outside of the practice, Nicholas loves spending time with his 2 young girls, Emma and Lexi, cycling and singing.

Sophie Prat
Sophie Prat graduated from Assas Podiatry School in 2006 in Paris, France. After working in private practice for 2 years, treating all aspects of podiatry,
She was drawn to the beaches of Australia where she obtained her podiatry registration with AHPRA.
Sophie joined Body & Sole Podiatry in 2013, having a keen interest in general podiatry, aged care and domiciliary work. She is known for her gentle care and is adored by her patients.
When she is not at work, Sophie teaches her 2 children the beauty of the French language. Sophie is also committed to fitness and is currently learning how to surf.

Beth Fechner
Originally from Melbourne, Beth Fechner completed her studies at La Trobe University in 2008. She studied Podiatry to help people with pain and keep them active. Beth spent 5 years working in Hobart predominantly in private practice and at the Royal Hobart Hospital working with high-risk patients, those at risk of developing ulcers or requiring amputation.
Since moving to Sydney in 2014, Beth has worked part-time at Body & Sole Podiatry. Here she gained further experience working with people of all activity levels, from pre-schoolers to 100+ year olds and believes that keeping active is vital for our physical and mental health, and if the feet are not functioning to their optimum level it can affect both of these. Beth spends one day a week handling Podiatry services at a Northbridge Residential Aged Care Facility.
Beth enjoys all areas of Podiatry from general treatments to biomechanics and sports injuries. She offers a proactive approach to recovery by combining the use of stretching & strengthening with orthotic therapy if indicated by poor biomechanics.
Beth and her partner Antony are kept busy by their elderly Labrador Ralph and new edition tabby Zoe. She spends her spare time walking Ralph, sewing and crocheting.
